Shooting Film #1

One of the coolest things about 2018 is that I have finally started shooting film. I've had a Nikon N65 and a Pentax K1000 for over a year, but I didn't know how to use them, and I didn't have anyone to teach me.

I came across King Jvpes on Youtube, and everything changed. His videos, and his enthusiasm for film, gave me the confidence I needed to pick up film, pick up my camera and get out of the house.

I have a shop around the corner of my house that develops color film with a turn around of only 3 days!! Other places take two weeks!

I took four rolls in but because I'm new to this, one roll was so old that there wasn't anything on it and the other roll wasn't great, so they only printed the ones that came out. I'm a little sad about the pictures that I didn't get but that's growth for the future.

 Here are my favorties.

I'm so very excited and proud of how these turned out honestly. This was the first time I'd ever shot film, and had it developed so I wasn't sure how they were going to turn out but I think I did a pretty bang up job for my first time. I look forward to shooting more film in the future!
